 The MS DNEPR is, for many river cruise passengers, a well-known and well-loved vessel. Whether you plan to spend 12 days on board, sailing to the Iron gate, or to take a 6-day cruise to Budapest, you are bound to enjoy the friendly Ukrainian ambience on board. The crew welcome you aboard with the traditional gifts of bread and salt. They also entertain you with national songs and dances during evening performances. You can enjoy a relaxing time on the Sun Deck with its heated pool or admire the passing scenery from the Promenade Deck. The cabins The standard cabins are 2-bed cabins are around 11 square metres in size with a large opening window (those on Main Deck have a non-opening porthole). All 2-bed cabins have two single beds, one of which is folded away during the day to provide a comfortable sofa. The bunk-bed cabins on Main and Upper deck measure around 8 square metres and have an upper and a lower bed. All cabins are furnished in a practical style and have shower and toilet, cupboard, temperature control, on-board telephone and safe. The 2-bed deluxe cabins are about 14 square metres in size. Those on Promenade Deck have an additional sofa and a fridge. All deluxe cabins have a hair dryer and satellite-TV. The following deluxe cabins have one queen size bed: 228, 229, 230, 231, whilst the other deluxe cabins on Main Deck have two single beds (232, 233, 234, 235). Facilities on board Panorama Restaurant, three bars, Sun Deck with a heated pool, awning, deck chairs and tables, Panorama Lounge, Reading Room, Souvenir Shop and Hairdressing Salon. There is a covered bar area on the Promenade Deck aft. Medical A doctor is on board to treat minor non-emergency matters. Restaurant / Cuisine Meals are served by our friendly team at a single sitting in the spacious Panorama Restaurant. The menus offer international dishes as well as local specialities, sourced from the regions we pass through. On-board program Theme evenings, quizzes, bingo and live traditional music ensure an interesting time on board. Books, card- and board games are also provided. Payment on board The on-board currency is the Euro. Your onboard account can be settled at the end of the cruise either in Euro (cash) or with a credit card (Mastercard/VISA). Life on board The atmosphere on board is informal. We recommend comfortable clothing, a jumper for cooler evenings and stout footwear for the excursions ashore. We also ask you to dress smartly for dinner. Our multi-lingual Cruise Team is at your disposal during the whole cruise with help and advice. This is a non-smoking vessel (smoking is permitted only on the Sun Deck or Promenades).
